Malaga Youth Camps

It's about a great time.  It's about a great God!

Debbie and Ethan are a mother/son director team! Debbie has been a director for Junior camp for the past 17+ years.  She has lived at Malaga Camp for close to 35 years and has been attending camp since 1968.  Debbie actually began her relationship with the Lord at Malaga when she was a teenager.  Debbie is married to Milton Witte and has three adult children and two brand new twin grandchildren.  All of her family has been very involved in Malaga over the years.  Her children have attended camp since they were in 4th grade and have all served as counselors every summer well into their college years.  Two of her children have been lifeguards at the pool.  Debbie not only directs Junior Camp but also serves as the Camp Registrar.  She will be the one you will be in contact with as you begin the registration process for your children.
Ethan is the son of Debbie Witte and has served as a director for past 4 years.  Ethan was born and raised at Malaga and now lives in Mantua, NJ with his wife Andrea.  They have recently been given the gift of twins, Lilyana and Owen, born in December 2013. Ethan and his wife both are elementary school teachers in South Jersey. Ethan has attended youth camp at Malaga since he was in the fourth grade and has been a counselor since he was 16. He has managed to be a counselor for just about every every week of camp, sometimes spending his entire summer working with the kids who come to Malaga.   He has also served as a Director for We3Camp, (now called Missions Possible). Ethan has a love for the ministry of Malaga and is committed to the children who come here.  He has a gift of communicating with children in this age group and being able to show them first hand what it means to be a "man after God's own heart".

Greg Keith has been a part of Malaga Camp since he was just a young kid when his parents were counselors. After being a camper for many years, Greg started counseling at Day Camp and Junior Camp. He evenually started counseling for Senior Week and then took over as director in 2007. Greg has a passion for working with youth and seeing them grow closer to Christ. Although each year has special meaning, some of his favorite Malaga Camp memories come from being a camper at senior week. Malaga Camp is where Greg first accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, and he looks forward to having the opportunity to lead young people to know Christ as their Savior, too.

One of his favorite verses is Romans 8:28 - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
